What is the BotBarCamp?
It is for everyone/students/beginners from all different backgrounds to share their passion and knowledges for creativity and self-expression in bots, chatbots, Virtual Assistants, AI, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, IoT bots, VR bots etc.

BarCamp – is an "unconference" born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.

What is a BarCamp?
A BarCamp is an selforganized un-conference born from the desire to share and learn in an open environment with the following rules:
- talks / discussions / workshops in English, 50mins
- no fixed schedule - present your talk at the beginning
- all attendees are welcome to participate
- bring your notebook or powerpoint on a USB stick if you want to present slides - we have beamers!
Where is the schedule of the Barcamp?
Presentations will be scheduled in the morning visually on cards on a so-called session wall. You can prepare in advance, and even announce a presentation, but you have to come in the morning, write your talk on a card and participate in the process of organising the session wall to get your slot.
Who can attend BotBarCamp?
Anyone that is interested in AI and likes to participate in the discussion! All ages are welcome. All participants must agree to the Code of Conduct.
All attendees are equally welcome to participate and contribute their knowledge. Attendees can just attend, present, or help with someone else's talk.
I want to participate / present at the Barcamp! What should I prepare?
Please register through the chatbot.
We also ask you to hold your talks/discussions/workshops in English. The slots will be 50min. Bring your own notebook or a document on an USB stick if you want to present slides.

Basically anyone! Programming skills are welcome, but not mandatory! We're going to make sure that each team will include at least one
What should I take with me except my computer for the Hackathon?
It is important to take your charger for your equipment. We have some, but it is better to have your own.
Do you follow a Code Of Conduct?
Sure! We follow the Berlin Code Of Conduct!
What are possible chatbot ideas / projects for the Hackathon?
Possible chatbot ideas:
- Step-vise dialogs: Everything that works with a Google Form / TypeForm
e.g. search params -> result as list, or registration

- Location-based information: Everything that is based on a specific location
e.g. tourism, restaurant recommendation

- Personalized content: Everything where you need individual data
e.g. booking, ordering, confirmations

- Notifications: Everything where you want to update a user
e.g. RSS feeds for websites, blogs, news, weather

- Dialog based: Everything based on direct interaction, conversational recommendation, also Speech-To-Text
e.g. Alexa or Google Home interactions, ELIZA

- Platform specific: embedded in Website or app or on one of the supported platforms
e.g. Facebook, Skype, Twitter, LINE, Kik, Viber, Slack, Telegram...
